Nashville Film Festival Artist Showcase at the Rutledge Yields Huge Turnout

Nashville, TN— In Support of the Whole Planet Foundation, an organization who’s mission is poverty alleviation through microcredit in communities worldwide, the industry invite-only showcase yielded a huge turnout among on industry professionals.

The showcase was held Tuesday, April 23rd at 8:00 PM at The Rutledge.

Cook'n Up Music's Emily Reid kicked off the showcase with a crowd pleasing, outstanding performance. She has spent the last year promoting her album REID, touring in the US and Canada and making her way up the American Music Association’s Charts breaking through the Top 200 in January 2013.

The CO was also on the list of performers, with song placements in the ABC TV series, “Jane By Design” and being featured on ABC Family’s Artist on the Rise. They received outstanding crowd reviews with their rocking performance.

Striking Matches- Photos by FS

The headliner of the showcase, Striking Matches was a crowd favorite. They have had their songs "When the Right One Comes Along" and "Hangin On A Lie" in the hit TV series Nashville and they are becoming regulars on the Opry stage.
